Animal actor Bobby Deol said he felt "very dirty" while playing Abrar.

In a recent roundtable discussion about his role, Bobby admitted feeling repulsed by the character during the initial days of filming.

Bobby Deol opened up about his initial discomfort, stating, “Yes, when I first started working on it, I used to feel terrible about myself. But then I realized that I was playing a role. Why do I feel so bad and hateful?” He further revealed that he would share meals with his co-stars after filming intense scenes, emphasizing that everything was normal off-screen.

Other actors present at the roundtable, including Vikrant Massey, who co-starred with Bobby in Love Hostel, echoed the sentiment. Massey described Bobby’s on-screen presence as genuinely frightening, considering the character’s violent actions, but then recalled sharing dinner and conversations about farming, realizing the stark contrast.

Siddharth, another participant in the discussion, noted that Bobby’s recent on-screen personas are distinct to those who have encountered him in real life. He affectionately referred to Bobby as “my gorgeous Bob” and emphasized the disparity between Bobby’s on-screen intensity and his off-screen persona.

Jaideep Ahlawat drew a comparison between Bobby, his father Dharmendra, and brother Sunny Deol, pointing out the differences in their real-life relationships despite all having acted in violent films. Bobby’s co-star from the past, Kareena Kapoor, praised his character, mentioning that Bobby “didn’t even have a bad bone in his body” during their collaboration on the 2001 action thriller Ajnabee.
